After the trunk or treat we set out for some traditional door-to-door knocking. Last year Billy did this with Liam alone. That's how we do it in my family, you know, the dad takes out the kids. But this year Billy wanted me to come along and whatever he wants he gets ;) , and honestly, I am so happy I did. I will never miss a year again. Each one of us was so giddy and silly, prancing down the dark streets of Milwaukie, grateful for candy and each other. Such a happy memory.
Liam says next year he wants to be Indiana Jones, and I am scared because the only counterpart I can think of for Isla is a cute Nazi chick. That's not happening, so anyone have any better ideas?

I like the various stages of Isla's happiness. Elliot was the same. I'm sorry to report to you, Becca, that I am a loser and forgot my camera. All day long. No Halloween pictures besides the ones already on my blog. Maybe I'll get the kids dressed up again and pretend?
