After pizza, we took the kids to the trunk or treat in the church parking lot. Liam jumped right in, remembering the ropes from last year. Isla was hesitant at first, a little of afraid of the cars that were decorated and emitting scary sounds. The picture above says it all, actually. However, once realizing candy was the end result, she got the hang of it. I don't know if it is because of the free candy, seeing my kids so happy, or being together as a family, but Halloween is quickly becoming one of my favorite holidays!
