Liam and the Piano

Last summer Grandma and Grandpa Snyder gifted Liam with an Acrosonic piano. Some might think a piano for a 3 (then 2) year old is extravagant and preposterous, but really the gift was for the whole family and has blessed us all. I love this instrument and feel my noisy thoughts diffuse whenever I sit down to practice. I am by no means an accomplished player, I probably sound like a first-year pianist, but I am getting better. Yesterday Liam said "Good job, Mom! You are playing with both hands!" It is nice when someone acknowledges my small accomplishments :)
The piano has been so good for Liam too. Thanks to Grandma Connie he knows where C is on the piano, and we are practicing on the other notes too. I hope he always loves to play as much as he does now. Maybe then he won't sound like an 8-year-old when he is really 26 like me.
