I usually avoid doing these things for fear of exposing my lame, insignificant thoughts. But Shannon asked and I can't sleep and I apparently have nothing better to do. So here it goes:
Three Things That Scare Me:
1. A bad man/men sneaking into my house and doing bad things
2. Something bad happening to Billy or Liam
3. Sharp fingernails tearing at my ankles while I run up the stairs
Three People Who Make Me Laugh:
1. Billy, Billy, and Billy
2. Lindsay
3. Is it cheesy if I say Liam? Because really, he does.
Three Things I Love:
1. A quiet house, hot bath, and a good book (courtesy of Kaisa, usually)
2. A bright, sunny day invigorates my perception of life
3. Family hug time. If Liam sees Billy and I hugging he has to squeeze himself in the middle. It makes me feel like we are doing something right.
Three Things I Hate:
1. Fighting with Billy. This doesn't prevent us from doing it, but I hate it nonetheless.
2. Comparisons of people, their qualities, their lives, etc. HATE IT.
3. Extended socializing with acquaintances.What can I say, I am progressively becoming more of an introvert as the years roll on by.
Three Things I Don't Understand:
1. How to potty train or wean an almost two year old from a bottle
2. Answering the phone
3. Gardening

Suggestions on the potty training and bottle weaning...
Don't worry about the potty training yet. Boys take longer. Just let him do it when he wants. But then again, it would be nicer to have just one in diapers, huh?? :) But really, he's a bit young.
Get non-spill Nuby cups with a squishy nipple-like mouth-part- it'll be a lot like drinking out of a bottle for him and it'll be a big boy cup. :)
Not that I'm a mom, but I certainly had my fill of child development and behavior classes in both my majors, worked at a daycare for a long time, and I hear lots of moms talking while I work. :)
And name her Emeline. :)
