No, he's not excited...

Isla doesn't want to let him go.

Things to Remember about Liam's First Day of Kindergarten

1. View Acres Elementary, Mrs. Southard 10:30-2:30

2. Liam made his own PBandJ sandwich and packed his lunch the night before

3. Family theme for the school year: Be Courageous.

4. Scripture: Deut. 31:6: Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he [it is] that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

5. Family goals for school year: 1. Say family prayer before school 2. Read scriptures 3. Do service

6. Liam was VERY excited and giddy for school, up until the last moment when it came time to say goodbye. Liam's smile turned into a worried frown, and he looked up at his mom with wet, teary eyes. "I don't think I can do this" he whispered. His mom reminded him of the family theme for the year. Courage is when you do what is right, even when you're afraid. Liam swallowed his tears bravely and said goodbye with a cautious smile on his face.

7. Isla didn't want to leave Liam. "I want to go with him" she cried the whole way back to the car. Her dad took her to get a Slurpee, and all worries were forgotten.
