My mom says every parent has hair cut story, and I am hers. When I was about 4 and a half, I cut off Annelisa's ice blond curly locks. I still remember the heavy metal scissors in my hand, and how they made me feel very important. Really, I do.
Last week (or was it two weeks ago?) Liam cut off Isla's two ponytails and gave her a couple bald spots. The only person upset by it was me, so I've managed to let it go. Hair grows, and in the meanwhile, her bangs and bob are pretty cute.
