This morning we had an incident.
When I went to retrieve a crying Isla from her crib, I found her naked and gripping a poopy diaper. There was poop on her hands, bum, down her legs, and her feet.
She was hysterical. This was not fun for her. No, she was clearly trying to get the poop off of herself. So sad, right?
Cleaning her up took awhile. The poop was dried onto her bum cheeks and down her legs. Isla is on some medication that loosens her stools, and I guess we now know it works. She was asleep right until I got her from her bed, so she must have pooped in her sleep. By the looks of things, she woke up to quite a surprise.
Here comes the ironic twist:
After the bath, I snuggled with Isla in my bed to calm her down. Liam was asleep in my bed too, snoring through the whole ordeal. As Isla quieted down, my eyes fell on the back of Liam's pajama shirt. This is what I read:
Caution! I hit home runs in my sleep.
I couldn't help myself. I mentally put an "S" in front of "hit" and found myself laughing at the morning wake up call. Thank you Liam for bringing humor into the not-so-funny situation!

Oh Becca.I'm so sorry for the mess. How many times have I told you the poop stories of my kids? At least Isla wasn't enjoying it. You can thank your lucky stars for that.
HA HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (the shirt not you cleaning up lotsa poo)
At least Isla hates the stuff. Her uncle Scott as I remember it was quite interested in the contents and managed to willfully spread it everywhere he could
