Our dear friend Morgsies (or Morgan as she prefers) came out to visit for President's Day weekend, Valentine's Day, and our (billy and me) 7 year anniversary of being in love. Just how there doesn't seem like there has been a time in my life without Billy, there doesn't seem like a time with out this little Morgs either. I met Morgan when we were paired together as roommates in our freshman dorm (Heritage for you BYU folk) and we were a sort of unlikely pair. I was tall, she was a borderline midge. Five feet tall. But she wears heals higher Mt. Kilinmanjaro, so you can't really tell. I was blonde, she was brunette. I screamed frantically with excitement when we met, she gave me a dubious eyebrow raise. She was a reverent Mormon girl, I hung an evangelical calender that read "Jesus is Alive in 2000". She was a clean, well-trained roommate, I liked to pick at my foot warts and leave trails of blood in the bathroom.
So, yeah, we were different, but here we are nine years later and we are bridging the geographic gap to spend time together. I love this girl. For many, many reasons. I mean, I bled on her bath mat and she forgave me. That says a lot, no? So here we are, Big R and Pepe:
Then something else happened this weekend. We got to play with Jessica and this cute new boy she is dating. For V-day evening, all of us went to our church Stake dance. It was pretty cheesy, but if you are wanting to have fun at one of these, these are the people to go with. And Billy and I got to bear hug slow dance at a church function AND leave room for the Spirit, so here's three cheers to church dances once you are married. Woo hoo!

That looks like so much fun. You know I'm jealous. I'm a terrible dancer, as you know, but with you guys, it doesn't matter.
Ohhhh, Becs, you're so sweet! Btw, the calendar actually said, "Jesus is Lord in 2000", I know this bc I will NEVER forget the shock! I love you dearest Becca - I truly am thankful for you. MWA!
The comment about the calender is hilarious. I had lots of fun with you guys at the dance! Thanks for taking a picture of Topaz and I.
Becca, you look so much like Grandma O in that picture. I hope you grabbed Billy's butt, you know, for grins. :)
