Welcome Maya Grace

Ross and Shannon had their baby girl, Maya Grace, on Sunday evening. She is 7 lbs, 13 oz, and oh so perfect. She looks like Ross at first, but then you look closely and see Shannon in her too. I predict she will be a nice blend of both. When I was at the hospital I asked Shannon to tell me the birth story, and while she explained the details that are always so interesting to we women, Maya woke right up and kept her eyes on her mother the whole time. It was precious.

Oh, and the sugar cookies above are a new hobby of mine. Shannon is very Irish, and like the Irish, she is proud of it :) I hope Maya is too because it is good to be proud of your heritage. An Irish Guatamalan, take that racial purists!

Hooray! Congratulations Ross and Shannon! She is beautiful! Cool new hobby, Becca! Why don't I have cool hobbies like that? By the way, I'm digging the new colors of your blog. I miss me Becca.
