Grandpa Snyder in China

Grandpa Snyder is in China right now for the Olympics. South High band is the only American high school performing there and he has the honor of being their music director. Here are the kids hugging him goodbye the night before he embarked on his 40 hour journey East.

I asked Liam if he wanted to write I message for Grandpa and this is what he said:

Bampa you going to Olympics and and I miss you and I don't know and thank you for I don't know and play games and legos and play in my workshop and play camping with Kristin and Bampa and thank you for my parents and thank you for my feelings and thank you for my Bampa and thank you for my Grammas and thank you for my stickers and goodbye. That all.

P.S. I showed Liam this post and when he saw the picture of him hugging Grandpa he said "That funny. That look like Grandpa nursing me." Ha ha ha...

That's so cool that he gets to go to the Olympics! Wow!

My favorite part of Liam's goodbye is "thank you for my feelings". That is so funny!

Thank you for leaving comments on my blog too and for thinking of us - it almost makes me cry because I know you mean it...and sweet little Liam's good wishes too! I wish you were closer. There's only one Becca and you are such a great friend.

The baby is coming on Saturday!

Liam that is such a great message for Grandpa. I love the video and pictures. I emailed Grandpa to make sure he checks the blog while we are sleeping tonight. He is up and having daytime in China while we are sleeping here in Oregon. ISn't that funny?
Love, Grandma Connie

Hello from China!!
That entry and those pictures mean more to me than I can ever say. I miss all of you so much and will be glad to get back home! Tonight we are watching the opening ceremonies from the hotel.
Liam, thank you so much for your message!. I can't wait to get home to do something fun. I know you are being a good boy. I know you are taking care of your Dad, Mom and Isla.
I love all of you. Please take care and I will see you soon.
Love, Grandpa Bill
