Sweet Message

The president of my church, my prophet, Gordon B. Hinckley passed away about a month ago. Here is what he says the focus of our faith should be:

"We know not all that lies ahead of us. We live in a world of uncertainty. For some, there will be great accomplishment. For others, disappointment. For some, much of rejoicing and gladness, good health, and gracious living. For others, perhaps sickness and a measure of sorrow. We do not know. But one thing we do know. Like the Polar Star in the heavens, regardless of what the future holds, there stands the Redeemer of the world, the Son of God, certain and sure as the anchor of our immortal lives. He is the rock of our salvation, our strength, our comfort, the very focus of our faith.

In sunshine and in shadow we look to Him, and He is there to assure and smile upon us."

Gordon B. Hinckley

This is just so sweet, I had to share it.

Here is my favorite scripture:

"23 For we labor diligently to write, to apersuade our children, and also our brethren, to believe in Christ, and to be reconciled to God; for we know that it is by bgrace that we are saved, after all we can cdo . . . .
26 And we atalk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we bprophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our cchildren may know to what source they may look for a dremission of their sins.

2 Nephi 25: 23 and 26, The Book of Mormon

I love you guys :)

Aren't you going to miss Pres. Hinckley? I've been reading the insert about him in the Ensign.

So my internet's working again, happy day. I read about Liam drinking the clorox . . . I know other people were horrified, but I could easily see Dottie doing that exact same thing. I've put all of my cleaning materials in the cupboard over the washer, but somehow, she still finds toxic things and tries to eat them as well. So don't feel too bad.
