The change in seasons has inspired me to hunker down with my kiddos and sew. Sewing is my mistress and poor Billy has lost his wife. I can't help it! It is just the perfect way to get the creative itch scratched and at the end I have something cute to wear to church. This skirt here is a Vogue size 10 but a size 2 in reality. I had to improvise and add an additional pleat just so the darn thing would fit over my Scandinavian arse. It's not perfect, but I am slowing arching my way through the learning curve.

I love it. So cute. I bet it looks heavenly on your little size 2 ahrse. I'm so glad you are going to visit your sister and the sun. You should give Dax a call and visit him with the chittlin's
Amanda--The skirt WAS a size 2, now it is something about 4 inches bigger, whatever that may be. I still have the post-baby chub, something I am trying to hang on to. It gets cold during the winter months.
don't go whining about your (what is actually a lack of) butt...
It's super cute!
Don't you just love how those patterns use old school sizing?!
PS Sorry I disappeared for a while...I forgot you don't show up on my Google Reader now...I was like, Why isn't she posting?...Oopsie :)
