It wouldn't be my blog if I didn't mention...

My best friends from high school and I --yes, we just happen to still like each other-- look forward to getting away from the regular hubbub of life and indulging in some pretty intense girl time. And by that I mean nothing but talking until the backs of our eyelids are as dry as a sunburned nose (or as wet as Liam's morning diaper if there was crying involved). My other good friend, many of you know her, Stephanie was commenting the other day on how weird it was that I still hung out with my high school friends. After she got over punch to her face and I picked her up off of the ground---kidding-I love you Steph---I had to agree with her. It is weird and maybe unusual. But not if you knew my friends. They are much more than your standard pre-packaged teenage friend fling and after all we have shared together we owe at least a few weekends a year to each other. I however, am still curious about the weirdness quotient and I want to take a poll. Who here is still in touch with their childhood friends and to what level? I would love to know your experiences and opinions on the subject! Please, do tell!

To this day my nearest, dearest friends are from high school and they are the ones I chat to at least weekly! They are coming to my birthday dinner bash tomorrow night...they are the one's that I confide in. If I ever lost them (heaven forbid) I would be one sad cookie! I love them!!! They make me happy and they bring me joy! I also love my friends from college! Hurray for friends!

I am obsessed with checking and commenting on the blogs of my high school friends!

We did legendary things when we were in high school. Our friendship is an unbreakable union of rebel activity. We are like the mob, and you can't just stop being friends with Al Capone and live to tell about it... right 'Ol Dirty ;).

My friend, Jen, who's blog link is on my blog, is a dear friend to this day and we've known each other since before I could walk (she's older so she was already walking :) ). As for middle school/ high school friends- I DO have a few I keep in relatively close contact with!
