Liam and I went on an adventure yesterday. The idea wasn't very grand because I do have a rapidly increasing energy-sapping belly on me. It was a walk down the street. Not too cool, I know, but hey it was the first time since we moved here so the both of us felt pretty impressed with ourselves. The point of me sharing this and embarrassing my lazy, lazy self is to tell all of you that on this short walk we discovered something ROCKING cool. Just about ten houses down from where we live there is a very large nature conversancy park filled with hiking trails. How it took us 2 months to learn this is beyond me, but I am pretty excited nonetheless. If it weren't for the fear of scary men lurking on these trails I'd be planning daily trips there. So to all of you nearby I extend one great invitation to go on a hike with me in my backyard :) We may live in the city, but we're still in the Northwest!
