First Three Steps!

Picture on the Left: Liam woke up from his nap one afternoon with his hair looking EXACTLY like this!

Picture on the Right: Liam didn't think it was too funny when Mommy started to take naked pictures of him. I, however, do think it is pretty funny how his hand is "conveniently" positioned. Also, check out his broad shoulders and barrel chest... is it just me, or is my baby buff????

It is official: Liam is a talking, walking, baby machine. On the eve of his 10 month birthday, Liam took his first unaided steps. He isn't a confident walker by any means, but he is well on his way! Other updates:
  • Liam is currently in love with the house broom. He strokes her slender body with eagerness and kisses her sweet rotting skirt when I'm not looking. In hopes of deterring his new fling, I bought him his own broom today at WalMart. But turns out our Liam cannot be deceived. After a brief encounter with the new, clean (emphasis on CLEAN) broom, Liam disinterestedly tossed her aside and searched the kitchen for the real thing. Seriously.
  • It is Billy's 26th birthday today! Let's give a shout out to this amazing husband and father! We sure do love him around here.
  • We had to find a new home for Oliver. After further research (and day after day of Liam getting scratched, bitten, and basically tormented) we discovered Jack Russell Terriers do not do well with small children in the home. As much as we love him, we had to find a better-suited home for him. It was a hard decision, but we are confidant he will be much happier where he is now. And I am sure Liam enjoys being able to now patrol the carpet puppy-free.
  • My bro, Ross, is dangerously close to getting engaged to a sweet girl named Shannon. We are very, very excited for them!
  • Billy got his first period. We are very proud of him. Just kidding...that was Billy's idea.
